The tranquil entrance to KU DE TA is a welcome point for your arrival to the inner realms of the finest lifestyle venue on the island. From the sculpted stone wall that flanks the forward decking area of the main bar to the water that spills in softly lit channels around the veranda to the lanterns and festive whimsies that decorate the tree boughs by the foyer the gateway to KU DE TA is quite simply the perfectly composed departure lounge to sink into the designer recliners, mull over a custom-cocktail and witness the cosmopolitan flow of guests passing before you.
The essence of nature is to be found throughout KU DE TA but nowhere more than at the Tree Bar with its playful shades and textures reminiscent of a tropical forest setting. Sections of thoughtfully arranged trunks, inner rings richly polished serve as low slung tables whilst the surrounding bar area houses top shelf liquor bottles amongst a mosaic of irregularly cut timber shards. An ideal ambience for sipping espressos, old world wines and premium spirits as well as enjoying an array of local and international magazines this is the place for cosy gatherings and relaxed business meetings whilst observing the comings and goings of KU DE TA life around you.
The centrepiece of the dining experience at KU DE TA extends beyond the tree bar and affords guests the panoramic view over the KU DE TA courtyard to the azure Indian Ocean. A high-ceilinged Wantilan pavilion roof creates a spacious canopy under which guests dine by candlelight in the evening while during the day a semi-formal atmosphere prevails, perfect for long brunches with friends and colleagues. The bustling energetic hum of the open KU DE TA kitchen is ever-present in the background whilst the hushed walkway adjacent to the kitchens houses intriguing artworks from a number of resident local and international artists.
A more intimate extension of the main Dining Room is the idyllic pergola setting dedicated to all day dining better suited to couples. Tables for two are set at discrete distances bordered by a perfectly groomed wall of ferns and affording diners views over the tranquil centrepiece pool reflecting the blue Bali skies or the constellations of the southern hemisphere. Whether it be a Bircher muesli and Italian coffee brunch over the morning’s papers and a browse of the Internet or a lazy lunch of imported oysters on ice shared with a close friend to an up close and personal dinner at nightfall it all happens here...
The centrepiece of al fresco dining at KU DE TA is one of the most popular settings for evening dining as the gentle dusk breeze caresses the coconut trees above, the moonlight shimmers on the ocean and celestial seductiveness compliments one of the finest dining experiences in South East Asia.

Graced by sun worshippers throughout the day the day beds become the centrepiece of the daily sunset spectacle every night at dusk.
